For over a year now I have slowly been switching my make up and skincare out for non-toxic products that are safer for your skin. Many of us focus on healthy food we put into our bodies, however we forget to take a deeper look at the ingredients in products we put on our skin.
Eyeshadow is one of my favorite makeup products and I was having the hardest time finding a safe, non-toxic palette, until the BeautyCounter Ultimate Nudes Eyeshadow Palette came into my life.
I have been wearing BeautyCounter for a year now and I am loving it. I have quite a few products I love including this eyeshadow palette. When they launched this product I was extremely excited to try it and when I finally got my hands on it, I was not disappointed. The pigment and color payoff of these shadows are amazing.
BeautyCounter – Ultimate Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
I usually go for a more natural makeup look, but with these shadows you can create almost any look, including a smoky eye, a warm golden eye or a cool toned blue eye. My go to look includes using cherry blossom all over the lid. Followed by mixing soft peach and canyon for the transition shade in the crease. On the outer corner of the eye I mix mink and spice then blend in with an angled brush. For my eyeliner I use Rimmel London Earl Grey and then smudge it out with a mixture of espresso and mink. And for the final step I add cherry blossom to the inner corner of the eye for a pop.
For a more detailed tutorial you can visit my YouTube video below, which walks you through this easy five minute eyeshadow look. I still cannot get over how amazing these non-toxic, safe eyeshadows are. I hope you enjoyed and if you are interested in this product, my girlfriend, Kathleen MacSwan, sells this palette through BeautyCounter. You can also direct message her on Instagram, @kittymac04.
